Welcome to SML Parasail!

Parasailing is back at Smith Mountain Lake!

Summer 2008, SML will introduce a new way to view the lake, and a new and exciting thing to do on those long summer days. Four young gentlemen Luke Phillips, Will Phillips, Ben Criss, and Thomas Daddio all have been certified with their U.S. Coast Guard, OUPV, 6 Pack Captains licenses along with CPR and first aid training. SML Parasail will be operating a Nordic Ascender with ALL BRAND NEW, top of the line mechanical and safety components. SML Parasail offers both individual and tandem flights. The Captains have all been trained and have hundreds of practice hours at the helm.

We will be operating from 9:00am to 6:00pm everyday except Tuesday.

Each time out is $65 per person, or two for $100.
We can do single rides or tandems (two people).

All our equipment is brand new!

We are selling T-shirts in blue, gray, and white that are $15.
We will later have long-sleeve T-shirts for $25.
Pictures of your flight will be available for sale.

Other merchandise is available at our booth, including coffee mugs, bottle openers, and key chains.

Reservations are encouraged and can be made via phone at 540-297-8481 and also in person at Parkway Marina (formally known as Saunders Marina).

This year, 2008, will be the first time in a while that Smith Mountain Lake will be having parasailing. It was once something that gave people a great perspective of the lake and showed family and friends a great time.

SML Parasail has become a great opportunity for us to learn and start our own business, as well as bring back something that was so enjoyable and awesome!

We hope to bring a new perspective to Smith Mountain Lake!
